Why Our Dancers Love Melómano
At Melómano, our community is at the heart of everything we do. We’re proud to have created a space where dancers of all levels can grow, connect, and thrive. But don’t just take our word for it—hear from the dancers themselves!
I have been attending cycles since 2022. I started with bachata lv 1 and within a year, along with a great, motivating and supportive community I have skyrocketed to level 3. Started focusing on Salsa in 2023 and have not looked back. Still mastering level 2 Salsa for over a year and my skills are shown on the dance floor. I couldn't have gotten to these level without great partners and the friends ive made in this community. Since I first stepped in the door Patrick, Dianna, Kevin. Valentin & Analisa have helped so much I also started to bring my 2 teenager to class and they are enjoying their growth! Thank you so much for all the love, the support and ofcourse the dancing! Always a bit of humor, mostly fun and education in etiquette and style. Melomano has very competitive course as well and monthly plans for anyone who wants to submerge into Salsa and Bachata. With a few new styles and experienced instructors you are in the right place! Ma y blessings to Melomano amd continued service to the dancing community!

My partner and I really enjoy our private lessons with Diana at Melonano. She is knowledgeable and passionate, making each session fun and just right for us. Melomano is way more than a dance studio, it is an experience with the senses, my Happy Place besides nature, where I learn to dance but also connect with amazing people with incredible positive vibes 🤩🤩🤩 From the beginning the instructors, as well as the students, made me feel welcomed. They are very encouraging and motaving to keep progressing along. This place feels like a wonderful family!!

I've been dancing for nearly 15 years and have explored classes and companies across San Diego. Melomano is one of the most friendly, professional and well-organized groups that I've ever joined. The team is very warm and welcoming; instructors are engaging and knowledgeable; there are an incredible amount of social dance events (I particularly enjoy the beginner-friendly socials); and the way they structure their progressive cycles makes it easy to consistently grow your skills. I would highly recommend Melomano for anyone who would like to learn or improve upon their salsa and bachata dancing, make new friends or try something new! 🙂
Coming to melómano was the best thing I could’ve done for my dance journey. As someone who comes from a dance background, it’s sadly commonplace to experience that weird hierarchical atmosphere or competitiveness in a studio. Melómano is seriously such a breath of fresh air compared to that! From my first day people were striking up conversation with me and everyone was so genuinely kind and supportive. The teachers are passionate and they really do care about all their students. The studio space is also one of the largest in SD which makes it so nice to dance in. Honestly the list goes on. My dancing has already improved so much. I love having the different levels so that you can focus on technique and avoid staying stagnant in your dancing. I always recommend this studio now to all my dancer and nondancer friends and everyone has loved it. I’m so grateful to finally be in such a safe, joyful, welcoming dance community! Turns out I love this place. Patrick, Diana, and Kevin have all been wonderful and vested in the success of anyone who wants to learn Salsa and Bachata. Every week I look forward to my lessons-at my age they challenge me physically and mentally, and have taught me to never give up! If you, like me, ever envied Salsa or Bachata dancers who seemed to have all the moves, and were having the time of their lives in the club, join Melomano! The dream of becoming a great dancer is no dream at all-Melomano has made it possible, and I'm humbly loving the journey. Every time I take a lesson, the music, movement, personal connection, and top instructors combine into a physical and sensory experience that takes me to a place I absolutely love.

Melomano studio is full of professional dancing teachers of various styles of dancing. It’s not only about making you ready for socials per se but is highly oriented towards making students looking good on the floor, stylish and confident when performing.
The teachers are truly supportive. The studio space is very clean, fresh, with large open doors, the sound and lighting is nicely professionally set… It’s a great place to make new friends and dance partners. I came here and gave it a shot, super amazing people all around, I am a beginner and felt like I fit right in. They have levels too. Check it out for sure when in San Diego!
I have been going to this dance studio for several months. And I love the instruction from Patrick and Diana and Anna Christina and the other teachers. I have never experienced a dance company with so much kindness and care of their students. It starts from the top with Patrick in Diana. Who are so much in love.And they just spread love throughout all the people of the dance family of the group. Because of that, it's a great learning environment with great technical teaching. I love training at this dance studio!

I've been training for about a year now and performed on the ladies stying, bachata team on Saturday for the 11th anniversary debute.
Somehow, I left my phone there with money in it and a credit card. By monday early afternoon, my husband picked up my phone with everything still with it. Where do you see honest people like this? That you don't have to worry If you lose something, they will give it back to you?
I love this family dance company and you should check it out if you want to get some professional training in latin dance.
